The iCarsoft CR Eagle P is the most complete professional diagnostic package in the current iCarsoft range. It is designed for independent workshops, mobile technicians and serious multi-vehicle users who want advanced diagnostic software together with the adapters and accessories normally purchased separately.

It combines full-system diagnostics across 58 supported makes with bi-directional active testing, selected ECU coding, 50 service functions, CAN-FD, DoIP, SAE J2534 pass-thru and complete TPMS sensor activation, programming, relearning and diagnosis. The package also includes four programmable iCarsoft TPMS sensors, an HD videoscope, battery test clip and 14-piece OBD-I adapter kit.

Full-System Diagnostics

The CR Eagle P communicates with manufacturer-specific control modules throughout supported vehicles. Depending on the vehicle, this can include engine, transmission, ABS, airbags, steering, body control, climate control, suspension, parking systems, battery management, lighting, doors, windows, infotainment, gateway modules and other fitted systems.

Available functions include reading and clearing fault codes, viewing ECU information, live data and freeze-frame information, carrying out a complete vehicle scan and opening individual modules for more focused diagnosis.

The exact systems available depend on the vehicle make, model, year, market specification and fitted control modules.

Bi-Directional Control and Active Testing

Bi-directional control allows the CR Eagle P to send commands to supported components and modules. This can help separate a failed component from a wiring, control-circuit or command fault without relying on trial and error.

Depending on the vehicle, active tests can include cooling fans, fuel pumps, injectors, transmission solenoids, EGR valves, lights, horns, door locks, windows, mirrors, throttle actuators, ABS pump motors, HVAC components and other supported systems.

Active-test coverage varies by make, model, year and fitted ECU. A test available on one vehicle may not be available on another.

ECU Coding and J2534 Pass-Through

The CR Eagle P supports selected coding, adaptation and configuration functions on compatible vehicles from BMW, Volkswagen Group, Hyundai and Kia, Ford, Mazda, Renault, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Subaru. Depending on the vehicle, this may include module matching, variant coding, programmable parameters, component adaptation, selected configuration changes, data migration and feature personalisation.

The included VCI can also operate as an SAE J2534-1 and J2534-2 pass-thru interface with compatible manufacturer software. This provides the hardware connection for supported OEM programming and reflashing procedures.

J2534 work requires a suitable Windows computer, compatible OEM software, manufacturer subscriptions and the correct procedures. Coverage and programming capability vary by manufacturer and vehicle.

Complete TPMS Capability

An integrated TPMS module allows the CR Eagle P to activate and read compatible original and universal sensors, diagnose TPMS faults, program supported replacement sensors and guide vehicle relearn procedures. Four programmable iCarsoft TPMS sensors are supplied in the case, allowing the kit to be used for complete sensor replacement jobs from the outset.

TPMS programming and relearn methods vary by vehicle and sensor type. Check coverage when a particular vehicle or procedure is essential.

50 Service and Maintenance Functions

Supported procedures include oil and service reset, electronic parking brake service, steering-angle calibration, DPF regeneration, injector coding, ABS bleeding, battery registration, throttle relearn and air-suspension service.

Additional vehicle-specific procedures can include transmission adaptations, airbag functions, headlamp calibration, window and seat calibration, EGR and AdBlue routines, clutch matching, crankshaft learning, high-voltage battery service, turbocharger functions, NOx sensor reset, radar and camera calibration and more.

Service functions vary by vehicle make, model, year, system and ECU configuration.

Modern and Older Vehicle Connections

CAN-FD and DoIP support provides communication with compatible newer vehicle platforms, while the supplied legacy adapters extend physical connection options for selected older and specialist vehicles.

The 14-piece adapter set includes Mercedes-Benz 38-pin, BMW 20-pin, Sprinter 14-pin, Audi/VAG 2+2-pin, Ford/Mazda 17-pin, Honda 3-pin, Honda 5-pin, Kia 20-pin, Fiat 3-pin, Mitsubishi 12+16-pin, Nissan 14-pin, Porsche 19-pin, Chrysler 6-pin and FCA 12+8-pin adapters.
